The leaked photos were obtained by SlashLeaks, which reveals the front and back panel of the device. In the past, Galaxy Note devices have usually featured significantly larger displays than their Galaxy S counterparts, but it looks like the gap is being shortened significantly this year. So far the leaks about the Note 8 tip a big 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The "2Piece" covers will also be returning for the Note 8, available in Orchid Grey, Deep Blue, Black, Silver, and Gold, although the RRP for each has increased, adding to the speculation that the Note 8 is likely to be more expensive than the S8 range. The S8 and S8+ both have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and microSD support. The Samsung galaxy note 8 might have a high price too, but it's highly unlikely that it will reach $1,100. This doesn't came as a surprise the smartphone will compete with the devices in the high-end segment, which includes the yet-to-be launched Apple iPhone 8, and LG V30.

The update is now seeding over-the-air (OTA), and thus, it may take a while before arriving on your device. "On August 23rd, Samsung Electronics will reveal the latest member of the Galaxy family with the ultimate multitasking device for those who want to do bigger things with their phone", read company's official invite. Earlier renders were a bit hit and miss, one of the most recent by Nillkin contradicted a previous leak by Olixar (which was similar to this new Ghostek one) in showing the Galaxy Note 8 with an enlarged top bezel and a more squared off edge. Naturally, the upcoming flagship will feature a rear- mounted fingerprint sensor, an iris scanner and face recognition.
