James Sutherland's late intervention was both the catalyst for peace and perhaps the greatest bugbear in Australia's bitter cricket pay dispute.

"CA looks forward to working with the ACA over the next couple of weeks to finalise the new MOU".

However, it has been confirmed that the players will receive back-pay once the brand new MoU is completed and signed.

The Test squad will assemble in Darwin next week for a training camp, with captain Steve Smith and his teammates flying out on August 18 for a two-Test series in Bangladesh.

After 10 months of negotiations between the sport's national administration and the union, the players are set to get a pay raise, to maintain a revenue-sharing model - the subject of most discord in the dispute - and to get back pay for the period between the deals.

"Both sides have compromised in order to reach agreement".

Cricket Australia says a deal was struck with the Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) on Thursday.

A resolution would give certainty not just to the Bangladesh trip, but a one-day tour to India in September and October ahead of the showpiece home Ashes series against England, beginning in November.

"Today's agreement is the result of a sensible compromise from both parties", Sutherland said.

"Relationships with the game have been tested and I know that has been a bit of a turn off for fans", he said.

The details of the agreement are expected to be revealed at the formal announcement.

Nicholson said players would share up to 30 percent of agreed revenue consisting of 27.5 percent of forecast revenue streams and a 2.5 percent performance pool.

The widening gulf between the players and the association compelled Australian Cricketers Association Commercial Manager, Tim Cruickshank, to visit India for "commercial opportunities" for the players.

Australia's leading players were left out of contract last month due to a dispute, which ended up in a stand-off after the ACA rejected a proposed payment restructure in the professional game from CA.

"Great outcome to retain the revenue share for all players now and in the future while supporting the games grassroots", he posted on Twitter.

"I pay tribute to all of the players for their resolve".

"They did not arrive here earlier on two occasions but now as they are coming, it is definitely big thing for us", he added.
