Man with only Trump store in America brings merchandise to Missouri

In advance of President Donald Trump's visit to Springfield, the Missouri Democratic Party is calling on the country's leader to not make cuts to healthcare.

Including nearly no specifics, Trump said his plan aims to simplify a convoluted tax code, lower rates on both corporations and workers, close special-interest loopholes and encourage the repatriation of trillions of dollars back into the US economy.

Trump said during his speech: "She must do this for you".

Here's what Trump and corporate CEOs don't want you to know: Corporate tax cuts don't create jobs. That's a winning ticket he can punch not only to get tax reform done, but also to give his presidency a very needed shot in the arm.

Trump as a candidate, president-elect and president has advocated for ending what he called a rigged tax system, including the special interest loophole; reducing the "crushing" tax burden; restoring the United States' competitive advantage internationally; and bringing the country to a 3 percent growth rate.

"Don't expect to see any specific rates like that", the officials said, in reference to the numbers on the one-page outline.

A lot of key questions remain on the Trump tax plan, which is at the heart of the administration's goal of achieving yearly economic growth of at least three percent.

His daughter, Ivanka Trump, an advocate for expanding the child tax credit, will also be there.

As an alternative to Trump's regressive, billionaire-friendly plan, AFT described what "real" tax reform would look like. "I will not support any tax plan that only aids the top earners and corporations at the expense of the middle class".

For instance, the administration has not stated publicly what will be the precise scope of Trump's tax reforms. They want taxes to be simpler and rates to be lowered meaningfully.

The White House is no longer expected to release its own detailed proposals for tax reform, instead working with congressional leaders as part of the "Big Six" effort to craft a tax reform plan that could earn broad Republican support.

But a major tax reform may be easier said than done. In practice, though, most of Bush's tax cuts ended up being permanent: Congress extended them rather than hit people with tax increases.

"I am now going to say that I'm very hopeful and I think we can get this done by the end of the year, but we will continue to revisit that".
