It was a long week of humidity, heavy rain, flooding, and severe thunderstorms. The airmass will be warm & humid across the area Sunday, and showers and storms will be likely especially in the afternoon. It will be a pleasant and mostly sunny afternoon. Right now Monday is the only dry day between all the models with at least a chance of storms in at least one of the models the rest of the week.

A cold front is nearing the area from the northwest, and that front will kick off scattered showers and storms for our Friday and Friday evening.

The week begins wet, as the next wave tracks across the state, bringing a good chance for rain. This storm exits early Tuesday and sunshine will return midweek along with high temps in the low 80s. Chance of rain 80%. It won't be as high as it was through many days this past week, but definitely back up to about 40 or 50 percent coverage.

Thu: High: 84 Low: 65 Partly cloudy with isolated storms. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s. Prevailing winds will be easterly to southeasterly. Expect highs in the mid to upper 80s.
