Three years since a Peter Dinklage-voiced Ghost awoke players' Guardians among the ruins of Old Russia, and Destiny 2 has finally launched for PS4 and Xbox One.

Sony has an exclusive marketing deal for Destiny with Bungie and Activision- and it seems to be a rather extensive deal, to the extent that the Xbox versions of the game can't even apparently be acknowledged in public. He has stripped the city's Guardians of their power and forced the survivors to flee. One of the big attractions in the original game was the PvP area, Crucible, and while it's back in Destiny 2, there seems to be a few issues with it not working.

Because Activision is a ridiculous company that loves consumerism, there's a dizzying array of different editions to pick up if you want to play Destiny 2. It's available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game welcomes new players to the universe, as well as those who have been devoted to the universe since the beginning, with an array of modes and activities to explore. Destiny 2 is now rated T for Teen by the ESRB and is available at a suggested retail price of $59.99. Additionally, the fan-favorite endgame gameplay experience, the 6-player Raid, will go live for players at 10 a.m. PDT on September 13. Destiny 2 will also feature a new system to help foster a growing community called Guided Games.

In all my time playing the first Destiny, the one thing I took away from the game is that people love their dance emotes. Having said that, we do know that it will still be an elimination match type where players can earn special rewards. The PC version will arrive on October 24th, 2017.
