Soldier three militants killed in Kashmir during anti-terror

A security personnel was killed and a civilian was injured in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday evening, police said.

IGP Kashmir zone, Muneer Khan said: "We will ask Pakistan to collect the body of Masood Azhar's nephew as JeM has owned it".

One Army jawan Vrahma Pal Singh was also killed during the clash whereas a civilian identified as Tariq Ahmed Bhat received a bullet injury as protests by locals broke out during the encounter.

He also paid rich tribute to militant Moazum-u-Din and Muhammad Akram who were killed in a gunfight in Uri sector of North Kashmir's Baramulla district.

"We have reason to believe that this weapon was given by Pakistan Army to JeM cadre, and that there are five to ten such M4 carbine rifles".

"Hassan Shah, the JeM spokesman, identified Masood Azhar's nephew as commander Talha Rasheed", it said while quoting from a statement issued by the outfit.

Last week a militant carrying U.S. made M4 carbine went viral on social media in the valley.

The officer added that as security forces marched towards Aglar Kandi, terrorists opened fire.

Amid pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans Waseem was laid to rest, they said.

"The US-made M4 carbine is used by a lot of armies part of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation".

Maj. Gen. B.S. Raju, commander of the Rashtriya Rifles' Victor Force, told the media conference, "This US made M4 carbine is presently with a lot of armies with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation".

A photo of a militant flaunting an M4 rifle had gone viral in Kashmiri social media circles last week. He said around 16 to 20 JeM militants were still operating in the Valley. "He was the main person supporting and guiding the JeM militants who were killed alongwith him", he said. Security forces taking position with the first round of firing by the militants retaliated leading to the killing of the three.
