Dave Chapelle's Secret Netflix Special to Drop on New Year's Eve

Dave Chappelle says he feels sorry for poor white Trump voters in new stand-up special on Netflix. Here Chappelle presents an award at the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards in Toronto

The only actual thing we get from The Bird Revelation is Chappelle asking the Comedy Store crowd, "I mean it is really bad out here, isn't it?" The change in tone is surprising yet understandable - the third part is the only special shot specifically for Netflix, while the other two were previously unreleased material.

"The poor whites are my least favorites", the comedian says in a preview clip from his upcoming Netflix special, "Equanimity", released Wednesday.

"You dumb motherf-er!" Chappelle says, "he's fighting for me!"

Check out the rest of the trailer below.

Dave Chappelle's: Equanimity is the latest special in his "Netflix is a Joke" campaign.

Chappelle said he failed to comprehend some of the comments Trump voters were making while waiting in line outside the polling booths.

"I felt sorry for them", he said.

Surprise! Dave Chappelle has not one, but two stand-up specials for you to ring in the New Year with.

While conservative lawmakers have worked hard to push back on the idea that their tax bill primarily benefits wealthy Americans, most Americans - particularly those outside of Trump's base - don't believe that the bill will benefit low-income Americans. The company reportedly paid Chappelle a whopping $60 million to stream his new comedy.

Dave Chappelle: Equanimity and Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation will both be available for streaming on Netflix on December 31, 2017.

Earlier this year, the comic released The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium and Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits on the streaming platform, though both had been filmed prior to his deal with the company.
