US to try to block Halliburton from buying rival

Federal authorities have sued Halliburton to halt its blockbuster takeover of the oil services firm Baker Hughes, citing antitrust concerns. Speaking to antitrust lawyers in Washington , Attorney General Loretta Lynch said the deals are also bigger and more complex. TransCanada has "yet to pinpoint the source", the company told CNN Money , but it maintains the leak has been "controlled", and a section of the pipeline was shut down after the spill was discovered. "Cooper didn't immediately know the status of the oil that normally would be flowing through the pipeline".
