A city spokesperson says the sirens are going off due to a system malfunction and emergency crews are working to fix the problem. Officials say there was a surge in 911 calls when the sirens were sounding. We have notified the FCC for assistance in identifying the source of this hack. The sirens were activated at 11:42 p.m. on Friday. The city says they're trying to determine what caused the malfunction. (more...)
