Thanksgiving is traditionally the most traveled holiday. Troopers will be on the look out for drivers not wearing seatbelts, speeders, impaired drivers and people who text and drive. Almost 20 lives were lost on New Jersey's roads during Thanksgiving weekend over the last two years alone. The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop H will have extra troopers on the roadway through the whole weekend, but there will be officers on Interstate 35 every 20 miles on Wednesday as well as Sunday.
